Don't Worry About What Others Think

I have some word here. . .
Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.
by Judy Garland

Spending your time worrying about what others think of you is certainly not uncommon.
Everyone does it.But here are some things to keep in mind:

1.It is important to know what another person is thinking.

2.What other people think of you changes from moment to moment.

Say,for instance,a friend tells you that someone said something bad about you.Of course, you feel hurt and you begin wondering all kinds  of    things : What did I do to make this other person angry? Why is she saying these things? What can I do to get back at her? But it is important to remember that this person could have been in a bad mood when she said what she did. Or she could have been trying to impress someone else. Or it is possible that something you did unintentionally hurt her feelings, and she is just acting to that.We never really know what another person think simply by being told something he or she said.

3.You can't control what another person thinks about you.

It might be important to you that a particular person thinks highly of you.You might even try extra hard to get him or her to like you.But in the end, people are going to think what they think, and it is usually something you can't do anything about.

4.When you are truly feeling good about yourself, you worry much less about what others think of you.

This is the most important thing to remember.

Your time is much better spent working on what you think about yourself rather than trying to shape someone else's impression of you. This is the only thing that you have any control over, and it is the only thing that really matters.

thank you :)
sincerely,
